2000 E430 Sport
52,500 miles on my 2000 E430 and the car runs as well as it ever has. No major problems other than the MAF going bad and a small spot of rust on the trunk.

2000 E320 Sedan
47k
On my E320 2000 model. No problems so far knock on wood. I only replaced the fricking blizak snow tires and allignment which was not too far off and all vibrataion issues have all disappeard after installing new V rated Yokohama A430 tires. I replaced one of the fog lights harness. Other than thant, It has been running smooth and it puches like no tomorrow.
Here is my ride:

how many miles on your E320 now?
My wife and I have 118K miles on our '01 E320. It's a great car. We have made a few repairs, but fortunately we found a local mechanic who is far more reasonable than the dealership.

Still strong. AC is acting up so I may have to replace the compressor and drier.
Hope to get another 100K miles out of her.

Just purchased a 1997 e300d with 100k - a veritable baby in terms of an MB and from what I've gathered especially so with the diesel. Two reasons I was willing to literally leap out of my 2007 Chevy HHR and into a 10 year old MB - first the HHR has THE most uncomfortable driver's seat I've ever experienced, and second I have an excellent mechanic close to my house - excellent in Saab, BMW & MB. Anyone in NY out on Long Island should look into doing business with Star Motors in St. James.

2001 E320
2001 E320 w/ 3,481 miles... only problem I've ever had was the battery went bad... from not driving it enough. Six years old now and still has never been driven in the rain, so it still looks like-new underneath.

Transmission Service
I have BIG question!
Do you guys change your transmission fluid? If so how often?
I have about 98k on my 97 E320 and I have an appointment for tranny fluid change on the 30th. I've decided to have the change it wasn't reccomended. I know a lot of people are changing the fluid.
thanks!

Nearing 90,000 mile mark on my 2002 E3204m. I plan on keeping it a very long time...until at least 200K miles. I'm moving & my commute will be much shorter too so hopefully, as long as it doesn't die on me, I'll have it for a good 5-7 more years!!
