Hello,
I am going to purchase a new E, and trade in my CLK, however i am wondering if i should wait until the 2006 model comes out. Anyone know of any big changes that are going o occur this year? I was hoping a 4-matic model may be in our future. Is this "tri-turbo" something that may happen this year?
ps - where are the bluetooth compatible radio units?

As far as I know the only confirmed change for 2006 is the new E350, just released and available to order now as a 2006 model. It is available with a 4 Matic, as is the E500.
I did hear a rumour about a new V8 engine for the E500, but do not know if that will be 2006 or 2007.

I have seen/heard of MB diesels with 1.5 times that power per liter. And lasting the miles with a single monstrous Holsett 9.0 liter Scania turbocharger.
The more turbos you have, the more chance for failure. I have no doubt the engine will hold up to it(since the aforementioned diesels are nearly 20 years old each).
Imagine though....A diesel in an SL. Heh, my dream!!!
