At least mine did. 11/04 build, delivered 1/05. It's inside the glove box, up high, slightly left of center, and the plug slides in straight towards the front of the car.

2005 E-500
Audio Auxillary
My E-500 is a 1/05 build and has the auxillary fitting in the glove compartment, as described above. The use is covered on Page 72 of the COMMAND operating manual (2005 Edition A). It is not very specific on what can be attached, but does mention a tape player. The AUX access is via a soft key on the COMMAND main audio menu. A number of adjustments are permitted i.e. Volume/Bass/Balance/Fade.
