Thanks, Thearle, for your post. Regarding the driver's seat- I have it set to come forward to the same position all the time. It is set in my memory 1 on the door. And yet, occasionally (maybe once, twice or even four times) per day it fails to budge when the car is started. I sit there and wait to see if it is going to move- sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.
To clarify the wiper problem, they are dragging and squeaking on the glass. My service department has patiently replaced wipers at least five times, adjusting them each time. The have cleaned the windshield with Bon Ami glass cleaner, and have most recently changed the entire wiper assembly to no avail. They are now saying there must be something impregnated in the glass and want to replace the entire windshield, but before I do that I thought someone may have had a similar problem and did not have to replace the windshield on such a low mileage car. It seems crazy! Any additional ideas would be appreciated.
