Hooking up IPOD in my 05E500

Hooking up IPOD in my 05E500
Does anyone know the best place to hook up the ipod? I was going to go thru the AUX connection in the glove box? Having a hard time finding a cable at places like radio shack and best buy. Any other place to get it?

I bought the Remote

and the mini to mini cable from Radio Shack and have been listening to my Pod ever since. It works great, especially with the Remote. I hide my IPOD in the glove compartment and just fast forward until I get what I want.

have you heard... apple is making friends with a bunch of car companies to make it easier to integrate:

looks like it would be a few hundi + install from dealer
a bit much considering it's more than I paid for my ipod in the first place... but then again aren't all our accessories too much.
Pretty cool though.

The one I listed her above is fully integrated.
You use the stering wheel controls to control you ripod in the glove box and the songs and playlists display on the dash computer.
IMHO: It's a bit more than the mini cable but much cooler and easier to use..
* Requires that you have Command installed.
If you preinstall at the dealer when you order your car (for those of you who have not bought yet) it is also listed under warranty.

we know that the one you are talking about is pretty cool but unfortunately it ONLY works in some of the 2005s or newer models. For folks like me that have 2004s or older, don't have that luxury or extra "coolness" factor.

Question: how does the Ipod connect in the glovebox? Is there a dock? Is there a cable? Do you need the Ipod's USB cable?
