What's new for 2006

* E320 is replaced by E350 model (3.5-liter twin-cam, four-valve per-cylinder V6 engine)
* New active front head restraints standard on entire E-Class line
* New 17-inch wheels for E350 and E500 models

Not a lot of new stuff, just minor things and some house keeping

It's actually a new feature that was put in after wives filibustered Mercedes.

The way it works is that your wife has remote control of this "active" headrest. Anytime you peek at another woman or dare to disagree with them, *click*, you get smacked in the back of the head.

I think we need to have that passanger ejection seat option and SOON

Head restraints are crash responsive…

Has anyone actually taken delivery of a new E or CLS with this feature yet?

E350
my E350 didnt come with the "New active front head restraints"
I heard it will come as standard around the end of this year

by the way, 7-G-Tronic (7-speed automatic transmission) is also new for 2006 and later on 280 will replace 240

7 Speed has been around since 2004.
