Should I buy a new 2004 E320?

Sorry, but I don't think there are many '05 E500's for $10K below sticker left... and even then that's still $50K for the average E500, where as this E320 is a $39K car... I still say, if the price is true, and the car is unregistered and clear title... go for it.

Depends on region and how much inventory the dealer has will let you know how low can you go. The 5K marketing incentive is good till end of the month for any E500 2005 and only 1.5K for 2006 so probably clearing out the 2005 E500 inventory and not too many inventory out there.
I found a pre-certified 2005 E500 with only 3K miles (previous owner bought in March and traded for a CLS from same dealer) fully loaded with Entertainment pack (NAV), Sunroof, Premium, plus Appearance pack (with xenon) for 53K - thats about $13K below MSRP if it was new. Checked sales records and service records and not a single problem plus 100% inspected and warrantee till 2010 because it's pre-certified. Dealer wouldn't go any lower and found a lower interest rate from a local bank so I made the purchase.
Totally happy with it! Got all the bells and whistles plus a kick *** V8 with air suspension so that I can go from luxury cruiser to sports sedan.

that is a fair deal when you consider it's only 3000 miles... I wonder how badly that CLS guy ate it when he traded it in... at least 15K from the sound of your deal!

Can someone please send me a link to the website that states that there is 5,000 rebate on the invoice price. Does anyone know how much the rebates are on other models? It would really be helpful. Thanks.

true.. here in PHX, I doubt anyone will talk $5000 off anything... Your lucky to get 3% above invoice.

I live in Jersey too. I was born and raised in Holmdel, but I am moving very shortly to NY. If you don't mind can you tell me which dealership you went to and did you go in and tell the dealer about the mahufacturer to dealer rebate and he gave it to you? Thanks for the help.

Don't let dealer tell you they won't consider the pricing available in other markets. On carsdirect.com, use zip 33139. Take a cheap flight and pick-up your car. My Atlanta dealer came within 1K of south Florida price, so I stayed local. This was after I was told that nobody in Atlanta would sell you that car for $XXX. But, I was willing to pick one up in Miami. Mine was E-500, silver/charcoal (tougher to keep clean than I was expecting), Appearance, sunroof, CD changer, $53,290.
