Lame Question from the Poser :) AMG Tips

Ok, I know this lame, but I am looking for a cheep way (for now) to make my car look a bit nicer. SO here goes, is it possible to purchase and install just the AMG exhaust tips on my car to get that quad AMG look? if the answer is yes, where can I get them, well I guess the better question is, does anyone know the part#. Had anyone tried some pathetic thing like that? Share your experience please. Will my rear bumper be in the way? Cheers!

Ebay is filled with that kind of stuff... not my taste, but there's a ton of exhausts for sale.. just do a search under W211 on ebay.

Same goes for Rims.. I think the AMG tips don't fit on the stock pipes.. but I could be wrong.

Might want to reconsider the tips... thats unless your going to knotch your rear bumper like the real deal.... If its not done then they hang way to low and look like a "bolt on" or after thought.... Just my .02

You may want to search this forum, there has been many pic's posted of aftermarket tips installed on the E.

The parts department at Penske Benz are selling those tips, they have both single and double tip on display.

Have anyone tried to custom weld and exhaust? Just wondering, what kind of performance gain would I get between lets say real AMG cutback and custom welded pipe from reputable performance shop who does this type of work for Porsche. Again.. I am fishing here... I'm the kind of guy who likes to know all options available... Going out and dumping 3k on Brabus is not that much fun to me...

Having the tips hanign low is a big nono for me. that is why I mentioned the bumper skin question in my original post.

I hope my questions are not to anoying...

I would look into Renntech or other chip tuning before I started to weld stuff on my car.. Renntech did a great job adding 10-15% more to my car and it didn't require a single screw to be turned... and when it comes down to it.. how the car looks is secondary to how it performs.
