I've come back to MB ..320CDi on the way!
 

Last Autumn I got my first E class, a cubanite silver 320CDI. At first, I was a little disappointed with the diesel noise (indeed, I posted one or two comments on this forum!) Just after Christmas, I decided to sell it.. a number of reasons, mainly personal, I won't bore you with that. Anyway 8 months later, I am ready to go back to MB and after much deliberation over BMW's, Range Rovers, Audi's (sorry about using such language!). I decided to visit my old friend at the local MB dealership. You know what..I have gone and done it ....I have the following coming in 10 days:

E320CDi V6 7G in obsidian black and sand beige leather
Avantgarde pack
Command
lowered suspension
674 alloys
telephone prep.
heated seats
6CD changer
Parktronic

He did me a great deal (over £4,000 off list).

So, I'm back in the club guys and gals...hope I made a good choice :hammer:

Welcome back! This is truly an amazing car. I watched a Motorweek show on it yesterday with a full road test, and this is a diesel that our performs 90% of the other cars out there.. and looks great doing it!

Question: Did you have the I-6 diesel before? and is the V6 that much quieter?

Yes the previous one was I-6 (at least that's what I remember ..it was purchased last October). New one due in 10 days..I haven't test driven the new engine
