End of Lease question
I'll be returning my E320 at the end of its lease in a few months. Having never leased before, what is involved at the end of a lease?
Also, one of my wheels has a pretty bad case of road rash (rim edge & spoke damage) - do I need to find a cheap replacement for this wheel before I turn the car in?

If leased through MBCC, you'll get a packet explaining lease end process in the mail. They use a "credit card" test, meaning damage that can be concealed beneath a credit card is not charged. The wheel probablyh isn't going to pass this, though, so you'll have a wear & tear charge.
Pretty simple process. They'll also start calling you with some real attractive offers to buy it out at the end also.

Take the car in now for an end of lease evaluation. You'll get a better idea of what charges you will get for items not considered average wear and tear. You can decide then if you want to get something fixed.

dont waste your time, you will be pleasantly surprised by the leiniency of the inspectors and what they DONT charge you for.
Wait until they tell you to replace something or repair something before you go do it.
Its really a painless process, actually i look forward to it as it will be the most enjoyable part of my ownership experience...as i have a lot of problems with my car.
