Hi all,

I live next Palo Alto, CA. I just received my car from LA and am looking for a local dealer to use for maintenance and warranty type repairs. Does anyone have any recommendations?

i am in the market for a new dealer too, i have been using Autobahn Motors in belmont but they are almost 2 hours from me and the SA is not that nice of a guy and treats me and every other customer i see him with like crap. i also have had a bad experiance (sales department) with sacramento MB. i had a great experiance with (parts department) Stead Motors of walnut creak. but i am thinking of trying out R A B motos as they are the closest and i need to get the airbag recall done.

Try Vadim, I'm not sure if he's in the Bay Area, but he's a great person to deal with and is our resident aftermarket specialist as well!

Park Avenue motors (now owned of Smythe European - San Jose)

A friend of mine has been going to them for nearly 10 years and is happy with their service. As well as members of the MBCA section that I know that go there.

They're a small shop, but service and re-sale MB's are their main business. They have all the access and full warranty MB Service facility. They've been around for several years.

I like RAB in San Rafael. Nice, smaller dealership with a very nice lounge, great service advisors and the only techs (of the four dealerships I tried) who could fix my squeaking E500 driver's seat.

Yes, unfortunately, looks like the only choice near the shop near Palo Alto. San Rafeal is a bit far from Menlo Park/Palo Alto area. And Torrence is in Southern California

For those of you not familiar with what my definition of the "Bay Area", it is generally refers to Northern California between San Jose and San Francisco.

We Folks that grew-up here in the "Bay Area" like to call that def the "south bay".... Anyway, If your willing to travel an hour north, Smothers European in Santa Rosa is were I purchased and have my ride serviced..... They have a new multi million dollar service facility and a great group of S/A's and wrenches there... I've actually been allowed be in the shop and watch and ask questions while service is being performed. I've no complaints with them.
