what's the offset in the standard 16" wheels?

Next winter, I want to buy a set of winter tires mounted on new wheels. What's the offset for the 16" wheels?

35 mm?

I did a search of tirerack.com wheels that fit and they list wheels with 35 and 40 mm offset. I would like to know the actual figure for the OEM wheels. Anybody know?
