Pano roof one touch

Does the pano roof have one touch close? I just went and saw the one I ordered, still have to get it insured before I get it off the lot... And tested it, it did not one touch close, it does one touch open though...

Also what state does the car have to be in to lower or raise the vehicle? I have the 333 sport package but the car would not lift, is it disabled or something with the sport package? I tried it while in park, I hit the button and nothing

yeah, my pano-roof has 1-touch open but no one touch close..

what pisses me off even more is that you can't vent the pano-roof without first rolling back the screen completely... guess i'll have to learn to live with it

Look for a picture of a "Shock" by the shift gate, just below it. Push that little button to use the different Airmatic modes.

it should raise in park or at 0mph in drive. It does take a lil while for it to work tho, its not instant.

The shock stiffens the suspension... the one to the left of that is the button for lowering it. Ill have to play with it some more, maybe I was impatient, I could swear the other car I drove did it almost instantly

Kdon: you get the pic I sent you?

Sort of OT but it was my understanding that your primary insurance automatically covers any new car you buy for a while allowing you time to update your insurance records with the insurer. I know with State Farm if I buy a car, I can just take it home and call them the following day to add the car to my policy but by some provision my new car is automatically covered for a certain duration. Have you checked with your insurance company about this? Hope you get to bring home your new toy soon

i believe, in the state of CA, you are automatically covered for a new car purchase for 30 days... but, I would recommend getting it fully insured with your insurance comany asap before exensive driving cause if something happen to the car before you call your insurance company, lot of companies will give you much grief trying to resolve the matter...

all it takes is a phonecall... 10 minutes later, your car will be insured...

It is definitely one-touch open only. You have to hold the button to close the pano.

I'll just comment that if you take your car in for anything that requires that they disconnect the electrical system or battery, check to make sure that your pano roof opens before you leave the dealer. I had to make a special trip back when they forgot to reset the pano after doing a routine procedure. It's a simple thing but a nuisance if you have to make the special trip. Just be aware that it needs to be reset. They could probably tell you how to do it over the phone. It also would have been nice if they had reset that ridiculous clock and reconnected my cargo net. Mercedes Benz of Long Beach falls short on a lot of the little detail stuff.

unfortunately MA has some sucky *** rules... you cant register a car with out insurance, SO if I cant register it, I cant get plates, if I cant get plates I cant get it off the lot... other states dont do that...

Still waiting on this damn car
