Transmission flush/oil and filter change at MB dealer: Who's done it?
Since I am planning on keeping my car longer, I thought it might be good to have the transmission flushed and have the oil and filter changed. I figured the best place to do this would be the MB dealer since they are the most likely to have a machine to flush the transmission. Has anyone here had this done? If so, what were the costs and how satisfied were you with the results (smoother shifting, etc.)? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you have an Indy do it, make sure they use the correct ATF fluid. Mercedes have changed the fluid they recommend for the 7G in the last year or so. I think it's called ATF 3353 (A0019894503). I also think they recommend FUCHS ATF 28 (A0019894603) for the 722.8 (5G?) transmission.
It appears that Mercedes are now recommending a one time (first time) change at 40,000 kilometers and then every 60,000 after that.
If you have an Indy do it, make sure they are properly equipped and know what they are doing.
