I Drove it today at the dealers - Miami
I placed an order back in March for an E320. Today my dealer called me to come down and drive it. I have been seeing so many pictures on line that nothing surprised me. The car in the showroom was an E500 "sport" with a Pano roof (I AM GETTING THAT). That was loaded. I was not totally impressed with the roominess in the car. It really does seem smaller than the older version. The back seat is beautiful but snug. My current 97 528i seems much more roomier.
I test drove the E320 with the pano roof. The material inside the car was top rate. Much improved from last year. The drive was nice and tight. Turns were awesome. Brakes go without saying,,,wow! The power was not too bad...
After I consider the options, I may end up with the 500 with adding the pano roof and voice activated phone as an option. I really wanted the navigation, but wont be ready till next year, that is crazy!!
