$50 Amex gift card for recalls
i just got a $50 gift card in the mail yesterday for inconveniences caused by my recent recall visit. Anyone else get this? Pretty funny. Nice gesture I guess. It'll buy me a tank of gas (Maybe)

This could be the third wave of AMEX gift cards; the first wave was last summer and, in my case, brought me a $200 card. I still don't know how MBUSA decides who gets $50, or $100, or $200, but in my case I'm not complaining; $200 = two full tanks of premium at last summer's prices, plus a very nice dinner for two.

Oh, and last time I looked, Kalifornia had a Republican governor (who pronounces it that way) and Arizona had a, um, Democrat.
