The ride is great and so is visibility.
Leith of Cary NC was great. Especially Bob McGuire.

The '09 is gorgeous and the older one ain't bad either!

I shrunk it previously today for my avatar (shrunk the picture, not the car).
BTW, clear corners and silvered amber bulbs ordered today. If you don't count an MB trunk liner, they'll be my first "mod". Thanks from this Newbie to many on this Forum for their help and experience on issues like: navigation, Valeo radiator, clear corners, image posting, etc.

I'd like to post pics of my Echo 35-Oh but...
I changed the color of my E350 to flint grey met at the last minute which added another 6 weeks to my delivery date (my original order was in May but i decided to wait for the 09...it is now Sept 25) sigh.
Since I have all this time to think about it...what do you guys suggest my first aftermarket upgade should be?
BTW My MB will have these options:
Premium 2
Sport Package (i think all 09s have that standard now)
Parktronic
Panorama sunroof
leather of course
split rear seats for my snowboard and hur skeez
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
My dad bought a 2006 E350 sedan. I don't drive it, but joined this forum to get any help when needed.
I will post up better photos. Drove it from the dealer lot to home. Wow what a drive.
Unfortunately it is MB-tex. I was shocked when realized that leather is optional now. MB-Tex feels a little rubbish, less slippery and perhaps a little colder than leather. Generally it can be acceptable on $20K range cars, but for $60K. Ridiculous situation is that it is hard to locate a car with leather and if you want it then better order it. Otherwise leather, the new car looks and feels good, it lost some small convenience things I had in previous E, however gained better quality ride and a lot of electronics.
