Bouncing Glovebox?

Bouncing Glovebox?
Well I just got my car back from the body shop where the replaced a slight indent to the front bumper from a F-150 backing into me at a light.
Anyway, now when I open the glovebox, the thing falls open then bounces like crazy! Has anyone seen this before? My 2003 E320 is out of warranty and the body shop (Mercedes-Benz of San Diego) is not returning the messages I left them.
I know it didn't have the problem before I went into the shop, but how to make the connection between this and light front end damage?
