the o7 rides so much nicer. maybe it is the sport package or maybe it is something else but i really like the change. i also like the looks, especially the front end and the rim/tire combo. if mb didnt cheap out on the lights or if i could have got p2 it would be perfect.

Have both(1 is my moms, other I steal when my dads not using it lol) an 06 and 07 E350. The 06 is none sports package and the 07 is SP. I can definitely tell the difference in the suspension with the SP and probably would not get an E class without a SP. The none SP suspension is a little to soft for my liking, but unlike BMW having a sports package on the E class does not make it horridly stiff and a jarring ride.
As for the transmission I cant tell any difference they should use the 100% same drive train, just make sure the 06 had the most recent software.
As for the lights.. Ow well who cares the 07's with SP have nice LED taillights.
