Question on Black Headlights

Hey guys, what would be your opinion on painting the housing for the headlights into black? Is it risky?
Please assist.

Yep, everyone it entitled to their own opinions, but you are definitely wrong. It would look like *** on a W211.

I think that's exactly what he's talking about. But if you look on the high beam it is all reflector, same with the turn signals. I'd like to see what it would look like but if you paint all of it what happens when the high beams or the turn signals go on?

Is there some one here that can photoshop a car to see what it would look like?

IMO, blacking out the headlight assembly would look like ***. It might work well for other cars or black cars, but I think it just wouldn't flow right in most cases. Oh...and I believe this is what KosherBenz was implying when he said ricey.

damn thats some ugly *** hondas. Thats the kind of civics that gives honda a bad rep. But I also agree that I think it would not look to good on a W211. If it was on a black car, what if it was like a black chrome....just thinking out loud.

Definitely looks different! I kind of like it. But does your hi-beams do anything when they are on?

Sorry from the pics on your sig it looked like the two center light reflectors were painted black too. I looked into some of the past posted pics and assume they are not now.
