CD Changer Locked Up - Any Ideas?
Last week, my CD changer suddenly started displaying Error CD1, Error CD2, etc. for any disc I load. The single slot still works fine, but the changer is kaput. Anyone have this happen or know of possible remedies before I surrender it to the Stealership?
Thanks.

Taking out fuse # 6 for a minute or so on the trunk SAM seems to cure many malfunctions, it may be worth a try. It has worked for me before, but I have not had your specific problem.

So you can insert and remove discs but it just won't read them?
I forget the exact fuse# for the CDC but pop off the left side cover on the dash and the chart is in there. If you pull the fuse and it doesn't do ****e then take it in to the shop.

I have almost your problem: in my case I push the button on the cd-magazine and it doesn't eject.
I don't think that it's the fuse my problem but the cables of supply.
Can someone help me and say me what are the cables to check or how can I unmount the cd-changer?
Thanks a lot to everybody

Make sure you don't have a dualdisc in there--that's a CD that is also a DVD. They are a bit thicker than a normal CD. I got one jammed in my changer, and my dealer sounded like I should have known better than to put one in there (although I could play it on all of my other CD players just fine).
