I think when it comes to rims style and tires its all personal preference some like the largest diameter they can fit while other find the ride is too harsh.
Actually from the pics they looks good and although I am not a big fan of chrome rims but they look not bad at all and off course if I have to pay for it myself I might just get silver over chrome (little less expensive and little less flashy) but if they were gift from your other half sure they looks good and how can you turn it down?
