No more squeeking brakes
An update
A few months ago I put Porterfield brakepads and Zimmerfield drilled rotors put on my 2005 E500.
So far they have not squeeked at all, the brake dust is greatly reduced, especially as compared to the stock rear brakes.
They feel better a little more grab, but I am not an expert.
They were worth every nickel to get rid of that squeel.

I bought the pads but have not had a chance to install them yet. I'm looking forward to getting rid of the squeal and the dust. The brake dust and squeal are definately the worst part of the car. I am really surprised MB can make a braking system that works as well as a chevy cobalt...

The dealer had previously replaced the rotors & pads, the squeeking came back shortly and they put some brake "grease" on the pads that did't last long. They than replaced the pads again. Unfortunatly the squeeking never was resolved.
The squeeking was only good for scaring pedestrians and getting dirty looks.
