Dome Light - What are the switches for?

Dome Light - What are the switches for?
This one's got me stumped. Nowhere in the Manual is there any mention of the two switches on the dome light. I've worked the two switches and they don't do anything (that I noticed).
Has anybody figured out what they do?

i dont know what you are talking about(switches) but there are 4 buttons, the two on the left and right control the left and right passenger reading light, and the dimmer, and brighter buttons control the ambient lighting, you need to hold them for 4-5 seconds for them to actually work though

Ahhh ... that's what they are ... dimmer/brighter buttons. I was giving them a push and nothing happens. I'll try to hold them for a few seconds as you suggested.
