2006 CLS 500
Brake Pads for your MB

Hi all, just have question on the brake pads. Currently, I have just over 40k on my 2006 CLS 500. Been thinking to replace the pad for quieter & less brake dust. Anyone has replaced them with aftermarket ones? What are your thoughts? Anythign i need to look for? Thank you for your help.

Do not use aftermarket, they will not stop as well. Put up with the brake dust.

No offense but you should also check over at the CLS forum and see if those guys are doing anything more specific to your car. So far I agree with the previous 2 posts but I haven't gone out and tried anything new yet and I'm one for experimenting! Good luck on your choice and DO YOUR RESEARCH!

The first thing I did was change the factory pads to Porterfields and I could not be happier. No brake dust, no squeal and no difference in braking performance...
