OEM Driver side replacement rear view mirror W211 E350

Hello All,

Well something really crazy happened today on my way home. In the never ending San Antonio, Texas construction, I was pushed into a side wall, just as I thought I was clear I came up on a construction barrel and I just nicked it with my driver side rear view mirror. Is there any place I may be able to to go to buy one? I have not yet called the dealership, as I am sure I will get an answer of 1K+ for the part and another 500-700 labor.

Does anyone has any insight as to the cost for a new mirror, and or any place in San Antonio, Texas that may be able to help? (I will not hold my breath on the ladder) haha

Thanks from your very sad Texas friend!

If it is just the paneling that needs replacing #300 in diagram, part # A2118100764 (+ color code - have VIN handy) you may attempt DIY see attachments. Either way PM the following sources for pricing:

good news, Mercedes of Boerne were able to put the mirror back on, and only charged me for a light, best $30 bucks I have ever spent!

How did you get that snapshot out of EPC? I often want to show the pics to people asking about things, but I haven't figured out how to cut and paste the diagrams.

There are programs that take a copy of your screen (or part of it) like Snagit but I would use a pdf-printer to print EPC parts diagrams and parts lists.

I believe this is available free from Adobe too. You get a nice PDF file instead of a jpg or something.

A jpg file may be better in a post like above though.

Doesnt the Prt Scr key take whats on your screen & paste it into the "clipboard"? (But the programs out there that do this are a bit better & are a little easier to work with as far as using the image.)

Print screen works but does not provide good compression. Parts lists span often over several pages too, pdf printer makes a single document just like it was printed on a printer.
