After Dead Battery Fix, No Volume in COMAND
I had a dead battery today (BTW, this is the 4th battery MB has put in). Recharged the battery and it started no problem (although an error message that ESP was out - that went away). Now, there's no volume to sat, phone, radio, etc. although the display works, phone dials out, etc.
Is there some re-set sequence to avoid a trip to "the workshop"?

I assume all service campaigns were completed nevertheless I once again mention 2005060008 JUN06 (in your case 211.026 VIN range A178744 – A756955, A273079 – A273079) Battery control unit may be erroneously evaluating the battery charge level as good when the actual charge level may be insufficient.

The battery died again without the audio ever returning. Roadside Assistance came out and diagnosed the battery as defective and replaced under warranty and audio returned. The tech explained when battery resources are low, audio output is cut out.
Thanks Konig for the input. The service campaign was done but I will point out the service bulletin. The SB's you've pointed out in the past have always been precisely the fix needed.
