2005 E500 with 'some' BRABUS upgrades
I was on the phone today with a BRABUS rep going over some stuff on my car. Brabus sells an engine package kit (cams, valve springs, valves and a few other parts) for like $8,000 installed 
Total horsepower gain: 30hp 
I've been looking for a while buy obviously in the wrong places for a supercharger for my E500. At this point all I need is some engine upgrades. I'm going to look into this...

Sorry, my mistake, renntech does a S/C with I/C. Gains are big. 443hp @447 lb-ft. Includes ECU upgrade. Gains are big, and so is the price - $16K. Better off getting an E55 IMO.

IMO with the price of getting an S/C for a 500, I'd just sell it and get a 55, you can probably get it done for the same price difference, and you get a lot more power, reliability, and goodies at the same time.
