Lowering through SDS...

When a car is lowered through SDS, are the changes permanent or does the car return to original specs after time?

Thank you

Permanent, unless someone after some time starts retuning the settings.

My car has been lowered via SDS for 2 years now. No issues of it returning to stock height.

Need help, I had the car lowered on friday but it went back to stock height today. I wonder why? Does anybody know which menu is it exactly in SDS to lower and permanently confirm the setings?

There's a discussion about this on the AMG 211 forum. (They have the airmatic too). Good luck!

On my last trip to the dealer i asked to have mine lowered and they would not do it. What gives?

Also, once it is lowered, is it true that you will need a new alignment and also go through tires more quickly?
