I work at Bell (Canada's largest wireless provider). Specifically as a implementation specialist for a Microsoft ERP solution called Dynamics NAV... Yes, Bell does more than phones.

I'm underpaid at 63k but luckily rode my Dad's coat tails and own a few condos in downtown Van.

Partner in a private equity firm, and I make a lot less than people think. I think income doesn't matter -- it seems in general MB owners are people who appreciate quality, performance, and styling. I think of Lexus owners as mostly rich people or posers, BMW as driving enthusiasts, and MB owners as people who want a balanced vehicle.

My thoughts and reasons only echo philfna's sentiment in the earlier post. I chose the E320 Bluetec over an E63 because it was different and MB's newest creation at the time.

Owning a business developing a ERP system and electronics devices such as OBD2 interface and wireless inventory control systems. Bought it because half my family worked/s at MB in Sindelfingen, I worked there during the summers while studying and b/c I like the quality and what MB comes up with for their cars. I worked hard for it, I work hard, and I will continue to work hard for my car. But I also won't forget that it's only a car to get from A to B.

Huge incorrect perception that MB owners are wealthy (wealthy itself is subjective). At least in the used car market: C classes are very affordable. E350's are found everywhere. E class V8's are one of the best value for money cars out there.

I think your question would be more appropriate in the AMG Black Series forum. (or far that matter forums for Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc...)

People think "he/she drives a Benz, they must be rich". Not true at all.

Would love the brand even if I wasn't associated with it.
I get a new car every two years as part of my compensation but I also own a 1992 300E with almost 200k on the odometer and that car is a prime example of Mercedes quality.

software sales. we sell the software that allows dentists to send their insurance claims electronically instead of mailing them by hand. its a great service and its nice to have people call you up months later just to tell you how much they love it.

if you know any dentists send me a pm, i can save them time and money.

btw i am comfortable, but not rich by any means. i drive a MB but not for the status bc here in the OC my C class is pretty much a dime a dozen occurrence, like a honda or toyota anywhere else in the country. not to mention the fact that everyday i am driving next to either a bentely, masarati, lambo, rolls royce, etc.

I'm in the military (Air Force) been in 6 yrs and dont get paid as much (30K)as everyone but its all how you invest your money. i bought my car with my deployment money from Iraq and love every single bit of the car. Looking forward in the next few years for the W212 since i wouldnt be able to afford a new car straight out of the lot and wait till there are used once out there!!!!!
