E63 upgrade
to those with the E63 upgrades: would you mind tell me how much did it cost to have them done? I understand that it need Hood, E63 AMG kit, grill, and fenders ( maybe?). Thanks a lot.

2005 E500
No need to change the hood and fenders. You need the radiator grille, amg bumpers, bumpers supports, sideskirts, lower bumper grille, fog lights, fog light covers. Just from the top of my head its about a $3k+ project if you can get the amg bumpers and sideskirts cheap or if you buy new, retail on the bumpers is about $1k each and sides are around $700 each.

There's a thread in here somewhere with not only the part names and part #'s, but the prices paid. And I think it's way more than 3 grand for some reason. You can't use any of the little bits and pieces like if you did an E55 conversion. Hell, I did the E55 front and the E63 rear, and mine was over 4 grand after install and paint. And they were USED PARTS!

Oh yeah, install and paint is extra!! But your car will look amazing after!!
Benzo is correct the you will have to buy little clips and screws, everything on the the new facelift bumpers is different. Look for threads by nikatine or myself you'll find the part #.

The 10G's I was talking about, was just the cosmetic stuff. Then you need to add all the performance stuff like ECU upgrade, headers, xipe and cat delete.....ugh. I still have an AMG airbox that I haven't even fitted to my car yet. Does it never end? Oh, and just pre-ordered the new E63 rear diffuser. $900.00, thank you very much.
But, I still have the quickest/fastest N/A E500 so far.
13.49@102.5 and I should be breaking that, next time to the track.
