What's new for E class in 2004?

Has anyone heard of any changes/enhancements or new options for the E in the 2004 model year? What I've heard so far is Navigation II, 4 matic, and maybe rear heated seats. Bob

I am also expecting COMAND II and 4Matic. Haven't heard about rear-heated seats, but would LOVE this if they offer it. Also would be great if you could upgrade to Nappa leather seating.

This would be a great time to start a thread on wish list for '04 options in the event that MBUSA is watching...how about everyone else?

1. Heated rear seats are already available, option #872

2. Unless COMAND II you are refering to is the new DVD based system there is no new COMAND system planned.
(give them a break,at the moment they can't even get this one working!!)

Nappa leather upgrade is available for the W211 in Canada! Ordered mine with Nappa. :)

Dont forget the nifty headlights that turn with you.

Callaway Feb 11, 2003 12:56 AM

Nappa already available here as well!

Neither Nappa or rear heated seats available in US yet...hopefully in 04.

Any other options you wish were available when you purchased (other than the ill-fated nav?)

You could always just buy one of these if you want headlights that turn with you!

Hey! That is the venerable Tucker! :D
By the way, what is at on the rear fender? Looks like some sort of a grille for air vent.

The rear quarter panel grills allow air into the engine compartment to cool the engine. Also on the first 25 cars, the fuel filler tube and gas cap were inside the left grille.
