Service D finished but just a few questions.

I just did my service D but when I checked the items it said to service through the star computer it didn't name the fuel filter but the sheet says every 60k miles.... do I replace it anyway? I have 64k miles.

Also I added 8 quarts of Mobil 1 0-40. I heard it takes 8 1/2 quarts. When I check the oil level through the computer it says oil level okay. When I started driving it the display says, Oil Level, Visit Workshop. What's up with this?

You should tell the dealer what you want done. I do not reply on them, they screw up.

Service D just means 4hrs. Read your manual, like you have done, and tell them what you want. Certainly review it with the SA.

So go back and point out what they did not do and also tell them they did not put in enough oil... WTF!

I did the same work on mine then on my next service visit I requested the fuel filter be changed. The service mgr recommended to not change it until l100000 miles. He said "we don't have issues with filters" but it is expensive and takes a lot of time to do it right.

So at 85,000 my origional filter is still going. All other service was done by me or the MB dealer that sold us the car.
