Missing owner's manual need help w/ '04 E320 4M
Greetings folks,
Another new comer here... I recently purchased an ’04 e320 4M, w/ Dynamic seats (also has A/C seats – not sure if that feature is part of Dynamic seats pkg) for my wife, a two owner car w/ 25k clicks on it. The vehicle is very clean inside and out; however, in looking into an extended warranty, I’ve come to find that it’s been in the shop numerous times. But that’ll be a topic for another time. The vehicle didn’t come with an owner’s manual (just the little “Tips 1 manual”), so I’m interested in learning how to use some of the features. Could someone assist w/ how some things work? 1 - As I understand it, in reverse, the passenger mirror is supposed to tilt downward, when the mirror set button is set to the passenger side, is there a way I can engage this? 2 - Is the steering wheel supposed to move up and out of the way when the driver has turned the car off and is exiting the vehicle? 3 – Do the Dynamic seats work in both C & S mode, or only in Sport? 4 - How do I call up the engine/service setting stuff – I’ve got an “oil filler” icon, stating to “check oil level, not when car on” and I’d like to know if it’s too high or low. Lastly (for now), does anyone know of a downloadable (PDF) file of the owner’s manual online, or am I faced with shelling out some ungodly amount at the dealer? I’ve been genuinely impressed by the wealth of knowledge I’ve viewed here. I have the same need for my MY05. Anyone have the d/l? I tried entering my VIN at the site above, but it says wrong VIN.

http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/#/servPrtsOwnersManuals/ If you want to register your car and it is saying invalid VIN, then you will need to call the phone number and register. I had the same problem and they took care of it by phone. |
