OEM or aftermarket?

The pics aren't up anymore but here's the write up for the aftermarket ones: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...installed.html

Aftermarket can be hooked into the courtesy and the OEM are on the CAN bus if I remember correctly(?) (I had OEMs)

I pulled mine out from day one (came with the car as a factory option.) They look much too bling for me and you can't see them anyway since the doors closed 98.9% of the time

They were a PITA to remove. Have fun.

I would add the word silly to their description. There is at least one other thread on this topic that goes into much more detail.
