lights under the side mirrors won't turn on
 
i have a e500 04 problem with the lights under the side mirrors i cant get it to turn on
does anyone know if there is a switch or something

Do the door lights turn on? How did you try it? You should try them at night (when it is dark) and open the door.

If you are persistant, you can find a "convenience lighting" menu in the FSS display. I honestly cannot tell you the steps because I think mine has a mind of its own. I just keep toggling between the menus and eventually it shows up. You can control the puddle lights and the interior " halo" lights. Perhaps someone more computer literate than I can off offer better help. If not there is always the thousand page owner's manual. :naughty:
