OE vs OEM parts
is there a difference? i am looking for a fog light assembly online and see several website that sell MB parts on the cheap. They indicate the parts are OE replacement. is that the exact same part that my car came with? also, there seems to be several online part stores under different names but with the same prices and customer service. is there one big company operating under different names (ie partsbin, benzbin, mbpartswarehouse, etc)

OE “original equipment”, OEM “original equipment manufacturer” both the same and denotes part was manufactured by supplier used to assemble vehicle on factory production line.
For MY09 with AMG package (code 772 datacard) you will need to replace fog light assembly part #1698201556, right 1698201656 (for comparison shopping, parts.com OEM new $102.35).
