Hey my drivers side is blowing warm air andpassenger side freezing cold air when i set both zones at full a/c in my 03 e320. I've read threads and everything points to low refrigerant and so i bought a refrigerant charger/checker from advance autoparts and it said i'm fine. Then i read a post that you have to completely evacuate and recharge the system. Anybody know if this is true? Or if my problem might be something else like having to synchronize the dual climate control????

I had the exact same problem in my 03, E320. It was two things, first the evaporator was leaking causing low freon. So by replacing the evaporator, and recharge its working great again...

You have a slow leak. Our E55 did the exact same thing. After a couple of weeks both sides will blow warm. Ours was a oring.

Gonna get some dye and see where the leak is then, thnx. Anybody out there know if its complicated to evacuate/recharge the a/c on a benz?

Same as any other car. Requires special machine to evac/charge properly.
