Tire Pressure Warning Message came on ?
 

Need help E350 MY09 first time i saw a Tire Message came on
RED " Check Tire Pressure"
I stop at a gas station check all my tires were perfectly fine. I was at the dealer last week they checked everything.

So i still have 1 message showing up ? what do i do ?

DO i delete it or reset ? if so how ? or do i take it to the dealer ?

All my tires are fine no sign of low tire pressure ?

I drive a 2009 C300 and while driving on the highway this morning the same thing happened to me. Actually this is the second time it has happened since i have the car. The first time was last year. It was colder then usual here in New York today so i thought that was it.... I go to the dealer this afternoon. They check pressure. 2 front tires are 25 and the back two are 32.... So the guy says oh its the left front tire, he fills it up to ????? and say ok if it happens again come back it might be a nail although i dont see anything.... OK i drive away about 10 minutes after driving same message appears............. My question is what is the correct tire pressure for front and back tires??? And did MB just rush me out because i did not have an appointment and they just want to make more money off of me???????????????

I have had the same issue. The US version of toms looks at differences between tires and differences from the last reset. Seasonal drops or increases can trigger the warning or, of course, a leak. Set the pressures, cold, to what is on your drivers door plate then do a reset. It should be fine after that.

It should be either on the driver's side door jam or the fuel door.

i took it to a gas station. filled up with air 50 psi front and back based on tires psi recommendation.

reset my tire warning light i had to turn it off reset on position 1 been driving for 3 days no message looks like cold weather or just a decrease off few ponds trggered it..

50psi is NOT factory spec, no matter what it said on the sidewall of the tires. 50psi will overflat (center thread will worn out faster than the side, not evenly). Stick with factory spec. (info is inside the door of the gas cap). The MB factory test the tires before put out the tire pressure recommend for your car (it does not matter what brand of tires). Regards.

front - 245 X 40 X 18 93V

back - 265 X 35 X 18 97V

so you are saying use the info inside the gas car door ? are you sure and not the tire recommended tire pressure on the tire itself ?

The manual points to the tire location and use that for inflating tires ??

This is the first time i hear this do not go buy trie pressure recommendation on the tires..

YOU NEVER GO BY WHATS ON THE TIRE .. The MB manual *DID NOT* tell you to do that.

You know how many diff models, makes and types of cars use that same tire? There is no way the tire mfg could write all the various inflation specs on the tire for the different cars that will use it.

I drove an 08E350 Sport, same 5 spokes AMG rims with Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 (also the same tire's size F/R as you mention), I keep the tire pressure COLD (front 29-30, rear 32-33), never have any warning yet (at least in last 2 years). I read the MB manual over many times, the manual do not mention anything beyond the info's recommend inside the door (of the gas cap) whether you run beyond 100MPH or less than 100MPH. I stick with that factory recommend, rather follow the imprint on the sidewall of the tire.

Yes absoulutly correct i was going off the tire psi on the trie when i should have read the recommended tire pressure you suggested.

I inflated 30psi front and 32 psi back reset my tires monitor

The tire pressure on the side of the tire is the maximum amount the tire can be inflated, not the best pressure for the tires usage. Go with the air pressure listed on the fuel refill door.
