car wont start!!

09 e550. car failed to start this morning. its not completely dead but there is not enough juice to start the car. no lights were left on overnight or anything like that. the car is only about a year and a half old. is it normal to have to replace the battery this soon? is it a warranty item? even though the car is in my garage, can i call roadside assistance? or do i just go and buy a new battery and replace it myself?

Call MB Roadside. Doesn't matter where the car is. They should warranty the battery if dead.

Something's wrong... with the battery or the charging system, or there is a draw on the battery overnight. They will find it. Call Roadside Assistance.

Is this a cold start?

Curious to know what causes the problem and the final outcome...

Any code or CEL came on before or during the start? Hesitant to turn over for the engine symptoms?

My guess is the CPS gone bad?
Or could be the battery die prematurely...

update. called roadside and they jump started it. everything checked out fine according to the tech. its been fine for 2 weeks. then after sitting for a few days, the car is dead again. not completely dead, but not enough juice to start the engine. will be calling roadside again and have an appointment with the dealer. any ideas what can be causing this. something is draining the battery.

Your car still in the warranty, take it to the dealer to have them check it out. I had both of mine in the garage (locked) for 3 weeks vacations, when I got back, there is no problem on either car, it start right away.
