Question Pacific Blue interior???

Any thoughts on Pacific Blue leather? Anyone have it, seen it, considered it, ordered it?

Hate to say it (hope I don't offend anyone, but I probably will...) but my girlfriend and I, both think it looks like an old man with Bermuda shorts, black socks, and suede slip-on shoes, in Vegas-kind of car...

We saw it in person with the plat blue exterior and Pac Blue interior...

You know whatt. i'm reall a blue fans.. that's why my car is plat blue color.. but for interior i think it's a little bit too much.. It's not that great; the best interior color is black or ash (my opinion)

Why not a darker shade of blue?

The traditional dark blue interior went well with silver and similar Mercedes. This pacific blue appears to be lighter though and probably takes some getting used to. I have yet to see the pacific blue in person so have no opinion yet, but the salesmen I have spoken to who have seen it say it looks great. At least it is a no cost option with Platinum Blue whereas one has to pay an extra grand to get charcoal with a Platinum Blue exterior.

Darker wood trim with Pacific Blue

Yours is the first photo I've seen of a Pacific Blue Interior with the darker wood trim. Is that a combination that one can get without the sport package here in the US? In your opinion does the darker wood trim compliment the pacific blue better than the lighter wood?

Dark wood is standard in the Avantgarde (sport).
This is a brochure photo of Pacific with the lighter wood.
I prefer the dark wood. ¿is it what you in the US call bird´s eye mapple?

It's black-dyed bird's eye maple... Maple is normally a very light colored wood...

E500, White, Pacfic Blue Int. Sport
I think the Pacific Blue interior is fantastic! The photos are misleading, its hard to get an Idea of the color, its not quite as light as these photos. I a past posting someone posted a link from ebay and I almost canceled my order of my white E500 with Pacific Blue Int. and sport pkg. Im glad I didn't, the blue and white is a great combination and the blue tint in the sports pkg really finish it off.

Here are 2 different photos of the same int.

I will post my own pic's soon.

Muhri, in my opinion thats the best option you could have got, im going to take some pics soon but this crappy one is one of the only ones ive got right now, taken at the dealership when they were handing it over, i was too excited to keep the camera still and the blurred image is what i got, you can sort of compare to the tealite blue one that was waiting to be collected on the left, surprisingly enough when we were choosing the color stone interior was listed as 'not recommended' however the dealership orders all of its tealite blues in stone, which looks alright but a bit too contrasting for me, maybe java would have been better, the guy in charge of special orders confirmed to me that tealite blue was the highest on his list of orders in the past few months after everyone realised how rare and exclusive it is (and how unrare and generic silver e classes are, no offense to anyone silver was our first choice, but just too many of then on the road) , he also came down to have a look at it and said it was the first time he had seen pacific blue, said it was the first and only blue on blue in kuwait and the only pacific blue interior to come through their dealership so far , i aslo notice e class drivers looking at the car through their rear view mirrors when their passing by as they can appreciate the rare combo

First time i saw the car as you can see was at night, the pics really dont do it justice and both pics posted on this thread be it the ebay ones or especially Juanjo's are too light, it looks much better and really dark at night as you can see in the pics below

Salesman driving it out of the vpc

Pacific Blue, it's funny you say that, we just got in an ordered E55 with that interior. The client ordered Brilliant Silver with Pacific Blue and as much as I love that car, the interior kind of kills it for me!!

Had to reduce the size of the pics from 1024*768 to 256*192 because ot he high blur I got holding the camera in my hands at 2 second of shutter opening time.
