You might want to check the chrome trim on the trunk, 2007s have a longer one. But I can see that youre not going for an exact conversion so you may have preferred this one

enjoy it!
Thanks for letting me know on the chrome trim I didn't pay attention I'll get the right one. I dint however understand about the rims do you mean there nice or not?

Agreed.

My thoughts:

The car looks like a Pep-Boys Benz.

IMO, lose the now-old S-Class taillights, as they just make the car look like a poor mans wannabee S-Class (and completely misses the mark). I personally think the Star grille on the E-Class looks terrible as it is, but the one on your car is very low-end, with the mid-bar still partially intact before being cut off for the large disproportioned and forced Star. Also, having both the Star grille AND stand-up Star is a bad look and huge no no, you gotta go with a flat badge if you want that look.

Good news is, those are little mods on an otherwise very nice and classy car. IMO if you changed some stuff around, the car will be back to its proper and classy state. Either way, if you like it, that's all that matters!

get rid of the stand up star ASAP!!! not a fan of the muffler tips either if your doing a conversion might as well go all the way, on the rims never liked a wheel with center cover it means not specially made for the car more like universal application... the back end not classy at all to many things going on contradicting badge and muffler tips and LED tail lights looks like a chop shop hahahhaa... bumper looks good tho!!! K-A is right on the money on this when you own a benz you have to keep classy too much aftermarket = Japanese tuner!!!

BINGO...

Hi Z.

Great taste. I am a purist (to a point), but you took MB to a new level...congrats.

The star-badge grille is exactly want I want to do. I recent trade from a E-350 Coupe (Star grille) to 2011 E-350 Wagon (plain-Jane Bar grille) is my only disappoinment with the Wagon's looks.

How did you find a grille that would fit? I would appreciate your comments.

Thanks, Don
P.S. I know MB should be flattered, but has anyone compared to new Hyundai front end (slant heaadlights with horizonal bar grille) with the newer E-350 Sedan front ends? One thing these cheap-o's can't do is copy the MB star.
