Engine fan, check ?

Hi,

So I was wondering how do I check if the engine fan works. Not that I have had any issues, I was just wondering the other day after a long highway trip and I was outside the car with it running and the fan never kicked on, so I opened the hood thinking it was just really silent, but no action!

Bear in mind that I live in TX and we had high sun and 80+ degrees that day.

Should I be worried and is there an easy way to check if it works or no ?
I was trying to find the fuse chart, thinking I should make sure in that aspect, no luck finding the chart in the manual FYI?

I think if you turn the A-C on to " Maximum Cooling" you will get a response that will let you know. Mine sounds like a Mitsubishi turboprop "weedeater" at full gallup. That will indicate that the fan is viable. As for the stat that kicks it on for engine cooling, just wait a little longer. That Texas sun will put it in gear. The normal min for these cars is 80 centigrade. They regularly climb to 90 C. Never seen mine go a peg higher but I know they can survive a little over 100 C with no pronblem. Fan should kick in by 90 C
