Fitment is much better than with the Qclip or clip models, as this rack doesn't touch the car at all. There is minimal wind noise w/o a bike, I hear a whistle but can turn the radio up over it..

Who is the manufacturer? They really look good. Are they sturdy? Did you hold on to them and shake 'em? Do you feel like they come loose?

OEM's are Thule made for MB, which is why you can't buy Thule racks in the US aftermarket. Yakima would use Q Clips 39 and clip on and touch the vehicle.

Yes very sturdy, plug into the oem mounts on the roof. I've been told to tighten them every few weeks or montly but otherwise are not going anywhere.

Gotcha MB4tronic. Thule is good. Used to have the coffin, pardon the Thule Box from them in Germany to use when we went skiing.

I don't like these rims at all.. I really like the Sport 18's much better.. I'd swap in a minute.. I like the dark anthracite 19" CLS AMG wheels too.. same design, but I see they only come in 19's.. I saw some 18" reps on ebay for $509 for the full set.. seems to cheap tho.. I'll hold onto these for a while due to financial situations..

I wanna go down to your neck of the woods.. I'm so close in S OC.. should be some nice trails and stuff down there.. Oceanside etc..
