I thought that was always a part of EPC.
Anyway, what's wrong with this one? It's only $11.45.

vin search cause it happened to me that even though I use the online epc, it gives me all parts numbers, not the one specific to my car.
anyways, ordering one regarless just for the install procedures. Thanks

This one I got from Pelican Parts. PelicanParts.com.
Their selection of mounts was better than at AutohausAZ, my other usual go-to.
Yes...reused the same bolts. They're big heavy things; not like the little aluminum bolts for the transmission pan.

A new pair of Vredestein Quatrac 5 tires in the 245/45/18 size Never had tires made in the Netherlands before.

Had my winter tires installed just in time for the cold weather, and had my service B done while it was in the shop. I got the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80's last year and I'm very happy with how they handle both deep snow and ice.

Replaced the right side motor mount and both front sway bar links. Will do the left side motor mount soon.

Removed the digital air rear center console to clean it, with the vents, and the top center console to take out the old nokia phone puck, its a pita to take apart all the vents, like 2 hours on the vents just to clean them and put everything back together.. Will post pics later.
Used tuff stuff multi purpose cleaner for the black suede center storage fabric, and a toothbrush with water to clean the rest plastic parts, lots of dirt from previous owners, its a 2003 car, no one to blame.

Yes did it in the drive way. Before, there was a slight vibration felt under load, like going up a steep hill, but now that's gone. The new motor mount now has the engine firmly in place as it was jumping around on that side and causing the front axle to rub on the body (frame) underneath and above. luckily it didn't damage the axle housing. Need to do the other side mount as the new one sets the motor a few mm's higher than the old right side one. Hence these should be replaced in pairs, but I just needed to get it back on the road.
I replaced the sway bar links while I had the car up on the jacks. While the sway bar links were disengaged, I slid the sway bar back to center as it had migrated to the left side and was rubbing on the lower control arm. I double checked the sway bar and it is not bent. It remained somewhat centered for a few days and is now again rubbing the control arm. Since the sway bar moves a bit freely in the sway bar mounts and bushings, I have a feeling that these sway bar bushings have been replaced (split style). I've been told the factory bushings are vulcanized on the bar and that would keep the bar from sliding side to side. These new split bushings offer little resistance to the bar sliding as they are not adhered to the bar. I'm going to look into some split lock collars to locate the sway bar centered. If these work, I'll do a write up.

I usual don't commit on negitive replies, but that commit was in fact "tacky"! I understand we have a voice to say whatever we chose to speak, but to me it's very disheartening to hear, or read insignificant mindless, childless, randomness, and listless commits during this time of the year
Nothing beats a man down by telling him what he likes is worthless, and that's not fair!
So for some of the individuals ( you know who you are) should be a bit nicer...vice just spewing diarrhea from the mouth about what you don't like!
Just my thoughts.

From the Drive-Way DIY series...Replaced E500 4-Matic front Driveshaft (Propshaft). Cost $240, has beefed up replaceable U-joints and is fully grease-able.

Installed a smart key starter. Now I have remote start on the w211. Something that should have taken 20 minutes took over an hour due to lack of space and larger hands trying to pull out a cable... Officially done modding it now.
Following were done over the past year:

Nice find, I see it's about $4.50 online, just need a few more items to get free shipping.

Repaired the transmission shifter module after taking it apart. An intermittent failure quickly became a show stopper. Since they cost $500+ new and while it was out, I figured it was worth a shot. I'll do a write up on what I found caused it.
