Turning 50...
Curious what maintenance items anyone has gone through around 50K? I'm at 48K, I just did the A service, and then went back this week to do the transmission service.. I was able to catch the $109 (A Service ) and $299 ( transmission special) at Foothill Motors, I called most of the shops in the mbworld archives and they were pretty close in price to those($265/280), so I figured might as well have everything on record at the dealer and pay the $10 more while they had coupons for the services I need. The A is already back at $149..
Next up I'm told spark plugs (how many are there in total?) and V-belt are individual items I would want to change in a few thousand?
How much should these two cost? $450-500 if done together?
What else did you encounter that is not in the normal schedule? Ball joints? Suspension? Steering components? Bushings? - are there upgraded AMG parts/E parts we can utilize to stiffen up the suspension on the 550?
