2007 e350 halogen mod to xenon

I just purchased an 07 350 and was shocked to discover the headlights are halogen! I noticed it came with headlight washers and assumed it was like the older models, headlight washers= xenon headlights..

Anyway, My question is: 1. Can the lenses be swapped for xenon type lenses and then use aftermarket hid kit or stock components?
2. Can 2006 e55 xenon headlights be used with 07 e350, + do an update on the outer bezel to match/ simulate 07 headlights?
3. simply use hid kit with existing halogen h7 conversion

Thanks, hope it's not too confusing.:nix:

Yup. I decided just to use an hid kit. Anybody have the xentec slim kit from ebay $30 bucks shipped? How is it working out?
I'm looking to buy: ddm hid kit raptor or tspny.com's kit. And just found xentec slim, I know it's low budget, but it kinda looks like the ddm slim.

Ddm works really good but shipping takes forever unfortunately I wanted almost a month for mine but they ran great for 3 years and sold the car with then not a single problem with them no flickering or anything maybe they've gotten better now with the shipping. Don't buy xentec though I made that mistake it all depends if you get lucky you get a good set I bought for one of my previous cars and they went out within the first week. I'd say if your going to spend it do it once and get it over with get a good kit with an actual warranty not eBay warranty.

First of all, I wouldnt spend a dime on those cheap ebay stuffs there....:slap:

Second, If I would go about doing this mod, I would check out this guys out first...lightwerkz or else I would do a OEM retrofit, which is cost a lot more I believe!

Xentec

Do not buy the Xentec slim ballasts on ebay. I have those on my IS250 and they are garbage. They constantly flicker. I am actually going to replace those and just throw these things out. That's what I get for spending $30 on an HID kit.

I ended up buying the ddm slim kit and some h11 super white halogen bulbs. The hid kit did not work correctly straight out of the box. I had to install the capacitators to stop the flicker. I used NTE 3300mfo, 35v. Now my bulbs don't flicker on and off or any errors. As for the h11 bulbs from ddm they did not power on, I need to return those.
