2004 E500 Power Tailgate Won't Open
 

It seems that the motor has an issue, wife says you can't use key to open, it takes about three tries to open with the handle. Anyone have any idea what the problem is? It was also acting up when closing too, sometimes didn't latch...She is also saying the inside button doesn't work to open it. It sounds like the motor isn't picking the tailgate up... Any insight is greatly appreciated!
