Check out these Navigation Set-ups!

For those who took the cash instead of waiting for the replacement or want to add Alpine DVD based, or any after-market navigation systems to their W211's:

Here you go!

These are by far the best alternatives I have ever seen.
It's clean, looks factory installed.

Well, it's nice and integrated into the console but I think it would be a hazard-- If one looks at it there is practically no way to monitor the road at the same time.

or screw the airbag in the steering wheel, and put the monitor there.

Looks really good, but I'd have to agree with others that the display's just a bit low. OTOH, if it's set to give voice directions, it probably wouldn't matter very much.

This is where it came from: www.car-multimedia.at
It's in German, no problem thanks to Google.com's auto translation of website!

So go to Google.com

IN the search box enter: www.car-multimedia.at

This will show up:

MSA-Technik Car-Multimedia - [ Translate this page ]

Click on [Translate this page] and Have Fun!

This site shows a lot of pictures on different cars. DVD, LCD's, back-up cameras, computer, printers, etc.

Some examples to follow
