Is there a warning message when your battery is getting weak?
Now that my wife's wagon is almost 4 years old and the weather chilly, my wife was asking me if there is a warning message when the battery is getting weak. Or, do you know its weak when it just won't start the car and you're left stranded?

The OE batteries generally last about 7-8 years,
and in this W211 M-B series, the alternator often goes before the batteries (main and auxiliary), but there is a warning for that. I recommend that you do a whole lot of reading about the battery situation among the posts of this site soon.
